These may include “bad dreams, paraesthesia, dizziness, agitation, sweating, and nausea.”1 Such withdrawal symptoms were once thought to be extremely rare, but they are now known to occur in about 7% of patients who quit taking the SSRI antidepressant, paroxetine.
